UPCOMING MEETINGS
Sunday sewing group is an informal meeting of sewists. All levels of experience are welcome. We meet one Sunday a month in the Village Hall in Cherington, just outside Shipston on Stour. During a 6 hour session we sew, chat, drink copious amounts of tea and enjoy a home made lunch. I am on hand to assist with your projects, be they sewing or pattern cutting – or both! There is no formal teaching, just a group of sewists who assist and inform each other.
We start at 10am and continue to 4pm. This means you get loads of time to get stuck into your project. Tea and coffee are included in the price and are provided throughout the day. Sewists bring their own machines etc. Lunches are an optional extra at £5 a head, speciality diets can be catered for.
The group is limited to 6 per session. Cost for the 6 hour session is £35, with £20 deposit required on confirmation of the booking. If you cannot attend for the full day, an hourly rate of £10/hour applies.
Topics covered in the classes include:
- Tailoring
- fitting
- pattern cutting
- lingerie
- bra making
- dressmaking
- soft furnishings
- bag making.

Hi Anne, I wish I lived closer to you but I would love to come to at least one class. I will also tell my cousin about it as she lives in Pershore and may be interested in your classes. I wish you all the best with your new venture.

Hi Debby, Thank you, I have people from all over, one lady comes from Chichester! I am planning some whole weekend sewing classes during the summer, so maybe that would work better for you. You could stay in a b&b. Thanks for your wishes! Anne
